Major Saver Campaign Underway

Would you like to save money at restaurants and family entertainment venues, while supporting the Wayne Township Education Foundation at the same time? If so, the Major Saver discount card is for you!

From May 3-15, students in Wayne Township will be selling Major Saver discount cards to help their teachers fund unique classroom projects. Half of the money raised by our students will directly benefit their own school. The other half is used by WTEF to fund teacher requests for hands-on learning materials and experiences that bring the curriculum to life. What’s more, when WTEF partners with DonorsChoose to fund Wayne Township teacher ideas, those funds have double the impact.

The Major Saver discount card includes 21 great offers for only $15. Discount offers include pizza and barbecue restaurants, indoor karting, theater performances, and more. The Major Saver app includes thousands of additional reusable offers.

“The Major Saver card has been a very important fundraiser for us for a long time,” said WTEF Executive Director Lisa Baize. “Since 2006, we have raised more than $315,000 through this program to help our teachers create and carry out engaging projects in their classrooms.”

You may purchase a Major Saver card online here. For more information on the Major Saver program, contact the Wayne Township Education Foundation at 317-988-7966 or Lisa Baize at lisa.baize@wayne.k12.in.us.
