New Look and Logo for WTEF

As the Wayne Township Education Foundation celebrates its 30th year, it is celebrating a new look as well. WTEF has launched a new logo, which will now be embedded in its communication and marketing strategy and materials.

“It has been more than 20 years since we created our last logo,” said WTEF Executive Director Lisa Baize. “We’re thrilled about our modernized logo, which helps convey the sense of excitement that’s part of everything we’re doing in 2022.”

The logo was designed by Trish Logan, owner of Beyond Words, Inc., a graphic design and communications firm of 35 years in Wayne Township. She was a member of the MSD of Wayne Township Board of Education for more than 16 years, and also a 14-year board member of the Wayne Township Education Foundation.

“The new, memorable logo was designed to embody the fundraising work that supports the mission of the MSD of Wayne Township,” said Ms. Logan. “The logo establishes a visual identity as a creative body with ideas and causes worthy of support –– all to benefit MSD Wayne. Through various project initiatives, the work to raise monies supports district classroom activities, honors both teachers and students, provides student scholarships, and creates community connections within the township and beyond.”

The colorful logo can now be found throughout the WTEF website (wtef.wayne.k12.in.us/) and will be part of all future WTEF communications.

“This year marks our organization’s 30th anniversary, as well as the 60th anniversary of the Metropolitan School District of Wayne Township,” said Mrs. Baize. “Our ‘Celebrate Wayne’ event is coming up November 5, our fall theatre camp is sold out, and we’ve already helped more than 100 teachers fund important projects in their classrooms. Our new logo is one of many exciting things going on for the Wayne Township Education Foundation this year.”
